PC Peripherals Headphones

There are no good 5.1 headphones. Stick to stereo. And really try to source them from abroad. The amp, you can get it built locally.
 
In 5.1 only the Razer Barracuda HP 1 has very good reviews. Its for $130 (about 6k) and one reviewer even mentions thats its good for listening to music and as good as a studio quality stereo phones in the same price range. Its comes with discrete amps for each of its 8 drivers and powers from a USB port.
 
@lord_nemesis....is tht available in INDIA ?? IF no then which stereo phones ?? n where to get the amp built for those stereo pair ? ?

Well, you can order them if you have a credit card. But you might what to consult with the audiophiles here first since you said your main use would be music. The only gripe I can see is that they are a bit costly because of the brand. $80 would have been a nice price for them.
