I've been lurking around here for quite for some time now and wish to share a bit of info around
Xbox 360 arcade(new jasper) with Fifa 09 bundle is just £129 in UK. $170 in US
Which works out to be 9k INR (7k if you manage to get rid of the game on ebay for 2k-ish). Google "129GBP/INR". Consider shipping another 3k, it really not a bad deal at all for a total of 10k. The only catch is that you need a friend in UK/US to forward it to you. There is no custom duty on electronic good if they are marked as Gift and declared of value less than 10k INR(several stuff ordered including PSP, been charged nothing).
PS3 is 15-16k both in US and UK, so it doesn't make a good deal at all even if you get one from there as, the shipping costs finally is finally going to add up making is costlier than Indian retail price.
I personally don't fancy Xbox because of RROD so might be heading to Chandigarh to get a PS3 in feb, any idea what price they sell for there?
