Hi All,
Just a short note to say hey and glad to be here.
I am around 40, attached now for over 20 years and my 3 kids are grown and gone.
Besides computers, multimedia, gaming and music, I build and fly radio control 1/4 scale aircraft and own a 24 ft paraglider as well as a big V-twin in orange pearl and chrome that I ride as much as Washington state rainy weather permits.
I am a Site Admin for a large gaming clan and we put on campaign style tournaments for Battlefield 2 currently.
We now boast over 3500 members, two battleservers, a large forum\barracks\news center which is our jumping off point and is linked to our euro and North American servers, teamspeak servers, file downloads and Wiki.
Our gaming family got started putting on tournaments back when Battlefield 1942 was a demo........five years ago?
I am now retired from U.S. Naval service where I served as a combat flight engineer until I suffered from a disabling injury after eight years of service.
I got luckier than many and Uncle Sam retired me at full pay and benefits.

:welcome: to Te . A gr8 intro indeed :) btw Zune was quotted as Ipod Killer :rofl: which never happened and would never be :P

Was wondering what your attraction to this site is and i think i found it.

There's loads of gamers here for sure...

Only problem is latency with the slower internet connections we have here. How do ppl deal with that ?

I was searching for DVD burning apps. on Google search and your site was on the list. I dropped by out of curiousity mostly.

Hehe welcome to TE. Seattle is like my second home... I visit there atleast four times a year. Washington, especially during summer is definitely the most beautiful part of the US i've visited so far and I love everything about it other than the constant rains and traffic snarls on 520 and I-5 :).
