Guys,
I recently build a PC and I need help on selecting my GPU. Below goes a brief spec about my PC.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G (Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz)
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 10 Home

The reason for me to add a GPU is only to play games like Cricket 19 and Euro Truck Simulator 2. I went through few reviews in Amazon and and other websites, but not sure which one to go for.
1. There is AMD and NVIDIA. So which one should I lookout for?
2. My budget is between 8000 - 12000 Rs
3. I'm trying to keep my budget as low as possible. Looks like AMD is bit pricey than NVIDIA.
4. I'm not going to play any other games except the one I mentioned above.

These are the GPUs I went through,

GIGABYTE GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card (GV-N1030D5-2GL) - Rs 7499
Asus PH-GT1030-O2G GeForce GT 1030 2GB Phoenix Fan OC Edition HDMI DVI Graphics Card - Rs 9999
ASUS Radeon 2GB GDDR5 Graphics-Cards RX 550 - Rs 9500
SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON RX 560 4GB GDDR5 - Rs 9900
Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Phoenix Fan Edition DVI-D HDMI DP 1.4 Gaming Graphics Card (PH-GTX1050TI-4G) - Rs 12,991
ASUS Cerberus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC Edition GDDR5 Gaming Graphics Card (Cerberus-GTX1050Ti-O4G) - Rs 12,790

I have no knowledge about GPUs. I will be glad if someone can help me. If you need more details please ask.

Better add 8gb ram ( same as what you have) , make it dual channel for better performance, and additional ram capacity. When you use 8gb, in that 2 gb goes away for vegas inbuilt gpu .

Can't believe the 1050 ti still costs more than 10k today. There seriously aren't any good new cards around the 9-12k region anymore (unless you find an rx 570 for really cheap). You should currently play on your inbuilt gpu instead of shelling out that much on a gpu which isn't that good for the price anyways.

3200G is good chip but if you're really sure to buy addon card then I can say
Don't buy GTX 1050ti for 12K+ .
buy this -
Zotac Gaming Geforce GTX 1650 OC 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card
Right now priced at Rs 13500
It's recently launched and much ahead of 1050ti. whereas 1050ti is more than 2 year old product.
The GTX 1650 supersedes NVIDIA's two year old 1050, outperforming it by around 52%
I think the price online is good but you may find better price offline like may be 12.5k
you can also play games like GTA V smoothly.

1650 is a scam GPU, one should opt for the 1650 SUPER that is 30% faster in most titles.

Thanks for info, I've no clue what scam is this.
probably you better know as I'm not a gamer.
but still 1650 or 1650 super is still far better than 1050ti

Nvidia made a mess out of its entire lineup, it almost seems intentional that they release multiple SKUs with the same nomenclature to prey on uninformed buyers to maximize profits.
There are several variants of the 1650, the 1650 (GDDR5) itself was released first and is considered to be a bad vfm proposition in all aspects.
The 1650 Super is a cut down TU116 (1660) with higher clock speeds and GDDR6 memory that was released 6 months later at almost the same price, yet a lot of people end up buying the inferior 1650 that is on average 30% slower than the Super in most titles.

@jealous21 I am with same proccy. I have been running RX 570 4GB.

Stock/vanilla 1650 is lost bet from nVidia - except 75W power draw, it got barely anything to write home about. Even yesteryear AMD GPU were outperforming it. GTX1650 Super is what it should have been from beginning.

your inbuilt vega gpu is very powerful for small gaming

Ryzen 3 3200g Vega 8 Euro Truck Simulator 2

I could play ETS2 flawlessly only on Low or Medium graphics settings. It lags the moment I increase it to high or ultra. Also the other game Cricket 19 lags too. For that reason I thought I will add an GPU

You mean to say I don't need to add a GPU at all, just the RAM will help me to play both the games flawlessly?

The minimum requirements to run Cricket 19 are Radeon HD 6670 or NVIDIA Geforce GT710 with Min 2GB Memory
Thanks for your suggestion on RX 570 4GB. To bring down my budget under 10k, what do you think about using RX 550 or 560.
I found these,
PowerColor Radeon RX 550 Red Dragon 4GB Graphic Card AXRX 550 4GBD5-DH - Rs 6950

Is this good to go and compatible with 3200G?

The lag most probably is due to single ram stick. For best performance 2 x 3200MHz RAM in dual channel.

Also, even in single channel you should check your bios to see if the RAM is indeed working rated speed, because XMP has to be set manually in bios. which stick are you using?

You can cross verify your performance with the video.

I'm using Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000 (PC4-24000) C16
I just ordered one more after all your suggestions. Should I do any settings change in the BIOS or anywhere else after adding one more stick? Or just plug and play?

Remember to populate dimm slot 2 & 4. Then go to bios and set 2933 in xmp. 3000 wont work on amd.
Which motherboard are you using

Update bios:

Version 5602

Updated and added a same version of RAM as well. Monitoring NOW!!

The jump from a 3200g to rx550/560 will be miniscule. There is no point buying anything below an rx570 or GTX 1650 super.

The other option is to look for a good quality used 1070. I recently sold one to a friend which was well within your budget. You should look for such deals.
