So according to you, an i3 is bad because its a dual core chip? :facepalm: Dude, i3 3220 is the best chip at it's budget. And for the tasks you've mentioned, you don't need anything above that. I have an i3 2100 and I do everything from gaming to running multiple VMs to stitching 10k panorama in PS and rendering in AE and SketchUp. You won't get anything better at this budget.

Fx6300 and i3 3220 are neck & neck in games and most applications. I don't see any difference in your config and the TS's config leaving the Intel amd part.

I think TS's choice of psu is better than the antec one.

If op wants to over clock and upgrade to a radeon card in future, his choice of components (don't know about the ram and mobo) would be better. I don't think you can over clock Intel i3 to 4GHz+.

i3 is a locked chip. you cannot overclock it.

thnx for replying.. Though many of other people told me that i should go for CX600 or VS650, instead of cx500, as i'd be overclocking.. But cx600and V650 will extend my budget.. What should i do?

If you mean the zebronics 450 its a crappy psu that can't be compared with what we are suggesting.
One more thing 450w is not always better than 430W it depends on quality of PSU. Quality of PSU is rated by 80+,bronze,gold,platinum etc.
