Hey guys, we're planning to buy an LCD tv with a max budget of 35k,
We have most of the products from sony, including the old CRT tv, cordless phone, cell phone, 120+120w rms music player, dvd player, car audio, car speakers, and now i feel products of other brands are just crap.
I started researching and found a Sony S series 26" LCD for 35k HD ready and T series 26" for 29.9k HD ready, The only difference is the contrast ratio, The S series has a contrast ratio of 15000:1 and the T series has 10000:1
for 5k more i get a better contrast ratio, plus better looks, The S series has a black glossy finish and the t series has a black mat finish.
Questions:
1. Does the contrast ratio matter a lot?
2. Should i go for samsung LA26A450C1(which sells for 36k) with 5000:1 contrast ratio instead? (I prefer sony over any other brand, like sony's punchline says "like.no.other")
3. I'll change my mind only if other brands offer more features.
4. What are the main features i should look for in a budget LCD tv?(forget full HD for under 35k)
The main part, My cousin works for samsung so he gets a 40% for 3 samsung products a year, so i get a bigger samsung LCD for the cost of a smaller SONY LCD, Ya true, everyone wants a bigger screen, but i want SONY even though the screen is smaller
Suggest me a few Samsung models too, I'll go check them in a showroom.
Anyone here to prove samsung is equally good?
