Graphic Cards [help] Display washout/bleeding problems

I recently bought (abt 2 months back) a Leadtek 7600 GS Extreme Edition (factory OCd)

Recently, one fine day, the monitor (Samsung 17" CRT)started showing major problems to the display. I will try and explain what it is as best as i can. Just imaging a freshly painted drawing and before it has dried, someone has wiped the whole thing by 2-3 inches to the right. So all colors, artifacts etc bleed to the right with shadows e.g. if i move the mouse, a 2 inch long white shadow also moves with it !!

I also have an external TV tuner and when i connect my monitor to that the display is fine. This means that theres something wrong with my display card.

Also, this happens to the text characters displayed when the PC is booting up, so its not a drivers issues as even the BIOS screen looks the same (bleeding that is)

Anyone experienced similar problems ? Or anyone know any source which can help me troubleshoot this issues ?

The bleeding is a sync problem between the card and the monitor (Hsync).

Your card's analog output is basically shot and you may need a new card. Try the other (DVI) output with a dongle (is it supplied?) and check if that is better. If the card has a TV output try connecting to a TV and check. I suspect the other outputs may be OK.

There are 2 DVI outputs with a dongle but only one works (this was the case right from the beginning). I dont have any other cable to check the SVideo output.

I will try and send the card for replacement though
