CPU/Mobo Help in buying new CPU

Hi friends

I want to make new rig having conf. details below. If u have any suggestion
then please give me advice

Proc- Intel Core i7 920
Mb - Gigabyte x58 UD5
Ram- G-Skill 3*1=3GB
Clk Speed : DDR3-1333Mhz Latency : 7-7-7-18
Or Corsair 3*1=3Gb
Clk Speed : DDR3-1333Mhz Latency : 9-9-9-24
as G-skill lower price
Hdd - WD 1TB 32 MB cache
Cabinet - CM HAF 932
Power Supply- Corsiar 750TX
or any supply from cooler master below 800W
Graphic Card- Suggest good one
I think Sapphire 4870 512 Mb or 1Gb

Please suggest that this rig is good one or not???
 
Good rig. You can look at the AMD option with the quad cores you know. Would save you a hell of a lot of money I would guess and also give you good overclcoking potential. I think the most expensive one is around 14.5-15k for the proccy. I have no clue what the i7 goes for but I would guess its mroe expensive. And if you do want to go for this kind of a rig, I would say be different go for a differnet cabinet. I would love to see the Antec 900 or 300 and also NZXT, both look good and am sure perform well and are not so widely used as CM.
 
Me going for a very similar config to urs..Everything seems gr8 to me.. although i will get the Asus p6t delux or the rampage 2 extreme as the mobo and probably the cheapest RAM i can find :ashamed:
Take the 4870 1 GB(pick ur brand but people saying stay away from Palit :S ) and Stick to Corsair PSU's..
Contact dealers on TE to get excellent prices.. Where r u from by the way??
 
In CM 750w there are 4 +12v rails and 24 pin connector

but corsiar 750tx having 1 +12v rails and 20+4 pin connector

i got price of both the psu of 7700/- including tax

which RAM should i purchase as the G skill latency 7 RAM is lesser in price then corsiar latency 9 RAM???

Since you are spending so much , why not get a veloci-raptor for OS install ?

Also go for gskillz ram , but make sure you check for compatibility with the mobo .

Also look at GTX260 216 .., good gfx that .

All 3 above r good rigs acc. to budget, just buy what fits in UR budget. Keep 20k~ aside for good LCD, maybe Dell 2209WA.
