My friend is looking to buy a laptop at around 35k

Use : General purpose- Multimedia, internet, casual gaming............

would be great if i could get some suggestions..
 
you can look at lenovo z series and dell inspiron.. though you may have to increase your budget slightly.. there are some models of sony e-series around this price point too but their battery backup may be a concern..
