PC Peripherals Help me buy Viewsonic vg1930w / va1912wb !

I want to buy 2 Viewsonic 19" WideScreens from lammy...

I called a couple of fellows.. they say that the vg1930wm is outta production / outta stock.

Should i go for the va1912wb @ 11700/- ??
How abt the BenQ FP92w @ 11500/- ??

Also.. can someone help me get a good price for these ?? :) (Or maybe atleast suggest the shop where i'd get to chk the displays for dead pixels bfore i buy em !!)

Btw.. I can spend 12k max per lcd !

Thats coz viewsonic want to clear off the VA1912Wb3 stocks before pushing the vg1930.

I think the BenQ FP92w is similar to va1912wb-3/Vg1930wm. So you should be better of with Benq.

Also.. the va1912wb has dvi input and spkrs rite ??
 
bought the benq fp92w around 2 weeks back for 11.6k. vg1930 was available but price was very high due to low stock. va1912w was also available but i went for benq as the va 1912w screens that were available here were 8ms where as the benq 1 was 5ms & identical in specs to the vg1930.

i guess if u can get the va1912wb-3 which is 5ms get that. otherwise i guess fp92w is there but there are no speakers in the benq.

Which shop ?? Does the shopkeeper allow to test for dead pixels ??

Do the spkrs matter ?? Is the sound any good (usable) ??

Wat abt BenQ warranty and support ??
 
^^ I don't think its a new model.
Its only a a1912wb. I don't know why they so 1,2,3,4 after the model number, there is no mention about this in their website also.
May be 1,2,3,4 refers to the edition???

I thought there is only wb and wb-3 in va1912, never knew of wb-4. Are you sure its wb-4??? Any idea about the specs?
 
^^ Yes I am sure its wb 4, its mentioned in the box, the driver cd provided with it also says series 4.
I think, all the va1912wb have same specs. Viewsonic's site does not differentiate the series 1,2,3,4 ......
Just says Va1912wb.
There wont be any difference between yours and mine.

its available china. May be viewsonic mentions these numbers to differentiate the products made in different regions. Mine is made in china.
 
no wonder guys!

I have been running after a viewsonic 1930 for the last 15 days......

it has still not come into stock..... grr..... those bas**** creating problems......

guys let me know what is the difference between 1930 and 1912 models.. does viewsonic offer glossy screen? in the price range of 12k which is the best 19" lcd to go far? also please enlighten me which will look good (the normal one or a wide screen 19")

i knw yaar... but then wen i called ystday..
couple of shops gave me 12250/- quote for the va1912 model.. after tellin them that i was gettin it for 11700/- they lowered their quote imediately !!

Also.. not all dealers allow to chk the panels at their shop.. most of em are a******s.. who aint interested in givin demos !!
 
me too was running around to get a viewsonic vg1930wm.they say its production has ceased.only vg 1921wm and 1912wb3 available here for around 12000 including tax.
what should i do??
should i go for the samsung 940bw or the aoc 193fw or aoc 203wv
how good are aoc monitors btw?? please help me decide.
the dealer here says viewsonic support sucks and its better to go for samsung or aoc.he says aoc has got nextday onsite service..
please do share your views on this..:huh:
