Help me find a Cheap Wide Angle lens for my 500D

Hi All.

Noobie alert here.

I always felt the need that i need to cover more area when i click. Never understood what it meant, until i start reading about some awesome wide angle lens
and saw the pics it took. The one i like is the Canon 10-22, But 53k. Dear God No. :(. For next 2 years cant spend that much on luxury. :scared14::happy26::sleep:.

Bought a 50mm. Its just sitting idle. :(.

Anyways I can get a cheaper lens?. Even used ones. Different mount ones with converters. Even Manual Zoom ones will be suffice.

Any help will be appreciated.

Best bet would be to get a used Sigma 10-20mm, somewhere around 20k mark. All UWA (ultra wide angle) lens are quite expensive and even more so with the current dollar-rupee scenario.
 
well my budget was around 15k... :D... budget i had set aside for a zoom. Then understood that getting a zoomer is a useless investment. :)

so 20k it is then. Any idea where i can get one?? forums and such?
