Graphic Cards Help me out for choosing the right PSU for my 7900gtx 512 mb

Guys please help me out to buy the right PSU for my 7900gtx 512mb video card.....right now i am having TECH-COM 450wPSU....is this is enough or i should go for better one...please help me out..........
 
MODS - There were a couple of posts on this thread that are no longer shown! I think there were 7 posts in all including mine.

Demon - I had tried the following online PSU calculator -

eXtreme Outer Vision - eXtreme tools for computer enthusiasts

I get about 517 W required. I think the 600W extreme should work just great.
Take calculator for a run yourself. Also please post the entire config that you have.
 
I have Pentium Dual Core 2.66,1Gb DDR400,now 7600GS 256(probably 7900GTX after),D101GCC board, WD250GB SATA HDD ,80GB SAMSUNG SATA HDD, 19" widescreen ACER(but power is given seperately),HP DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER,PANASONIC DVD HOME THEATRE SOUND SYSTEM DTS 5.1 SA-HT75(power given seperatly) ...
 
Get a coolermaster extreme power 600W that will suffice for your needs as of now, price Rs. 3600...if on budget then you can lookout for zebronics platinum series.
 
^ Or if your planning a mobo/cpu upgrade, it'll be worthwhile investing in the Corsair HX620, neat PSU :D !
 
I think somewhere around Rs.5800, no doubt its a very good buy, but sometimes lesser mortals like us need to look out for the budget as well
 
k can u suggest a little bit lower versions.... How about coolermaster extreme power 600W it comes at a price of around 3200... any others?
 
If you can't afford to get the Corsair, I guess the Seventeam ST-500-BKP/CM Xtreme Power 600 watt would be enough like mentioned in the other thread .... there's even an Antec Earthwatt 500watt which falls around the same range, supposedly better alternative to the CM and Seventeam
 
:) If you are a on a budget go for the powersafe 500 watts for 2500...

like powersafe 500(2.5k)<coolermaster extreme 600, antec eartwatts(3.5 to 4.5k)<coolermaster igreen 500,antec tp trio 550(5.5 to 6.5k)<corsair 620 hx(7.5k)

The order I am giving is for a price perspective as well as performance
 
^^ Yep, but rather then going for the Powersafe get the CM 600 for future upgrade/peace of mind....
 
Another option is the Corsair HX520. Should be quite a bit cheaper then the HX620. Availability is a problem, though.
