Help me suggest components for new rig

Link to CM GX 750: GX-750W - Cooler Master

Will it be able to handle this Rig:
Core i7 920 C0 @ 3.8
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 Motherboard
Gskill 1600Mhz DDR3 3x2GB kit
Corsair H50 cooler
1 TB WD black x2
EVGA GTX 260 superclocked
[Will upgrade to GTX 480]

Will it be enough?
might also try some more i7 overclock

Re: Will a coolermaster GX 750W PSU be able to handle this Rig?

Look brother , to be frank Cooler MAster GX series is a new PSU and harly any reviews are out on this on net

For your setup Corsair TX 750 - 7.8k will do just fine

Re: Will a coolermaster GX 750W PSU be able to handle this Rig?

But my budget was only 5k...
and better than the GX 650 with only 2 6+2 pins I thought GX 750 is better with 4 6+2 pins...

also it is 80plus certified and has 60 Amps on the 12 volt rail :eek:hyeah:

its only problem is that its not modular, too much wires and it does not have solid state capacitors

but my budget is only 5k...

I extended it as GX750 is much better than GX650 and costs only 1000 more...

Is there any other option???

This one also does not have solid state capacitors...

Is the MSI X58 PRO-E good?

Is this mobo good?
because I am on a budget now I cant afford any more than 12k...
I hav an i7 C0 will OC it to 3.8Ghz

Re: Is the MSI X58 PRO-E good?

With a C0 stepping, I think the Pro-E board is not good, mainly because the board runs a little hot. However, there are certain mods you can do, like placing a spot cool fan over the IOH to keep the temps down. If possible, try getting your hands on a Gigabyte x58 UD3R instead (the recent one with USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0 ports). If not possible, get a Pro-E, its a very good board in terms of overclocking capabilities.

Re: Is the MSI X58 PRO-E good?

The reviews I read for MSI X58 PRO-E, pegged it decent. Some people do state, that the chipset is a shade hot, when on extreme OC. (In reviews). Though you are spending money, so give these a read too. Gigabyte EX58-UD3R-SLI, ASUS P6T SE, and DFI LP DK X58-T3eH6.

Where can I get Corsair Dominator RAM?

Where can I buy a Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600Mhz 6x2Gb kit???

Where can I get Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard???

Where can I get the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard here in Maharsarta???

Its USB 3 and SATA 3 :hap2:

And its cheap too [will not be more than 13.5k]:eek:hyeah:

But its not available at primeabgb...

Where can I get it???

Re: Will a coolermaster GX 750W PSU be able to handle this Rig?

You may buy the GlacialPower 650AA, which is within 5k. Has only two years warranty though. Look for Antec EA650 too, which is also around the same price.

HX620 is modular and @ 7.4k, compared to TX650W, which provides more power, but is non-modular. Go for TX650W @ 6.4k, which is your best bet.

If all else fails, you may settle for Corsair VX550W @ 5.6k.

Its 4.5k in delta. Should be maybe 100-200 buck lesser in prime (prime sellers vx450 for 3.6-3.7k and delta sells for 3.8k, so most likely that could be the case).

Anything other than that is your wish. Buying psu is not something like buying from fashion boutique or something (same goes for other hardware), so you're a lot better buying the best stuff money can buy and be done with it.
