Monitors Help - monitor not entering sleep mode

hello guys, i have a samsung 740n monitor and it doesnt enter sleep mode at all in win 7

I have an xfx 9600gt gfx card. I have checked the control panel settings also. Is this an issue with my gfx card or my monitor ??..

Did you try the screen saver tab in display properties in CP. CP > Display > ScreeSaver tab>Power saving > Turn of Monitor .

no guys, sorry this issue is only with windows 7. How to correct this ??

monitor sleep mode not working in windows 7 with xfx 9600gt.

but no issues in xp.

How to fix this ????
