hi guys,

I need a laptop.any brand will do .price range 50 -55k.maybe can spare couple of k's extra but that's it.I would not go for dell as i need it by tuesday.would use the lappy for coding, reading, music and maybe some adobe creative work.want the battery to last atleast 4hrs.not much interested in os like vista would prefer xp.is it still available?.if the lappy comes with vista can i uninstall and then install xp instead?.will there be an issue with the drivers?.I want the lappy to have a screen not bigger than 13.3 inches but bigger than 12 inches.harddisk should be 250gig more the merrier :) is it possible to get it in raid config like two hdds?would do lot of reading like ebooks so the screen should not be stressful.am inclined towards asus and fujitsu but the prices are on the high side.also how hard is it to install xp on macbook.is macbook worth it as it comes with a lower hardware config for the above price?.also the lappy should be of sturdy material.my last laptop broke at the hinges and it went downhill from there :(

would also someone from chennai tell me some shops in ritchie street or elsewhere in chennai where i can get good deals.

thanks a lot

if u wait u can get DELL XPS 1330 and belive me it's the best i am already having 3 dell systems.

My second options is Sony VIO.

Macbook is good but bit expensive. It is easy to install XP on it. just do some search on google and you will get it.
