Hi,
I needed some help in setting up some rendering servers in Rackmount cases. I have 12 machines, with Q6600 processors and 8gb of ram, one HDD and a standard size Powersupply. The Motherboards are all Abit Ip35-e and have low end display cards. All of this sits inside an Ibox Grabit cabinet.
Mumbai has major space constraints and i basically just want to put this in rack mount cases so i can use less space and have more servers.
What cases should i use? Where is it available and what things i should consider?
All my systems are overclocked to 375-410 fsb and are using ultima 90's or extremes. I am willing to use the staandard intel coolers and reduce the oc's to 333 fsb, if i can run them in the rackmount cases.
Saving space is the key issue here.
please come forward with recommendations and suggestions.
I did look at just picking up some rendering servers, but they are too expensive and i already have all the material, except for the cases.
