Help on new Broadband Connection - Mumbai

Hi

I want to buy MTNL broadband connection... I dont have a MTNL landline so Iam willing to go for a unlimited combo plan...

DSL Unlimited 995 Combo and download speed is written upto 1mbps ....

Now I want to know that will I get download speed of 1 MBPS or divide by 8 which will be 125 kbps ?

Actually it's the other way round.

I.e., 1Mbps = 128kBps"b" stands for "bits" and "B" sands for "bytes" and 1 byte = 8 bits.

MTNL is the great isp and will always give you promised speeds. So you need not worry about it.

Also, ISPs differ greatly from region, service can be very prompt in one region and can be worse in other. Ask your neighbours or anyone in your area about the quality of service, so that you may not face any issues in the future.
