The first time i noticed the problem was when few days back my computer used to restart or hang whenever i played two or three songs in windows media player. Either the computer remained hang or it restarted and a dark blue screen followed telling the following message:
irql_not_less_or_equal
DUMPING PHYSICAL MEMORY TO DISK
STOP: 0x0000000A, 0X000000FF, OX00000000
Also during the normal disk check, there come messages like: ..../windows/Prefetch..this entry not valid. Truncating it.
This problem persists. Now the problem has reached to such an extents that the computer does not give beep sound also and refuses to boot.
I also remember that i tried to do connect my pc to my friend's pc for the first time before such problem surfaced.
