Hey i want to connect my ps3 to my computer monitor. but my monitor is a VGA does not have a hdmi or dvi port. is there any way i can connect the two.

else everyone would have been confused. Easy way would be to use a Pixelview card on your PC and use it to get your PS3 display on your monitor.
HDMI to DVI to VGA perhaps? You may not be able to play content protected using HDCP encryption though. You will get a black screen in this case, such as playing a blu-ray on the PS3.
HDFury has a cable which comes with a converter which supports it. Pretty expensive though! Better off with an LCD that accepts DVI input.
