All OS How do you adjust to 20:9 aspect ratio?

So my past phones are Pixel 1 XL, Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 3 XL. They all had 18:9 displays, I think the 1 had 16:9. But from today I started using a Pixel 8. And right now as I type this I have a terrible migraine after using the phone for few hours. What's the problem with this crammed up elongated screens? I am unable to find a single benefit of this over the wider aspect ratios. Videos look worse (fill to zoom cuts way too much now), texts look worse and stretched to more lines vertically now! I mean wtf?

Is this something which I'll get used to, or should I just try to replace my newly bought phone? Are the 19.5:9 on them iphones notably better or what? This is a serious issue for me. Worse than any notch crap.

Maybe you are sensitive to low PWM displays?

I doubt 20:9 aspect ratio in phone is an issue, if it was a monitor, I could have agreed that its not convenient, but it is convenient for a phone IMO.

Anyways, go to a doctor, not a tech forum.
