Audio How is this Bluetooth speaker with mic?

So my cousin brother recently bought this Bluetooth speaker (with mic) for 2700rs from Amazon.
These things seem to be trending. When did home karaoke get so popular here?
Anyway I listened to it but there was some obvious distortion and there was some echo issue (I don't know if it's normal) but I've never listened to a good quality one so I don't know how it should sound. I posted an image of the specs. Battery is 2000mah.

He also believed that it was made in India. :|

Seems like a ok type. Go for jbl if you are looking for a sound quality, else you can do a diy which would give you the best of both worlds

Brands like Boat, Portronics etc are pure trash. JBL and Sony both brands are not VFM in any way and only expensive speakers (5000+) from them have decent sound quality.

For budget-friendly yet great sound quality, some niche brands like Tribit, Earfun, Soundcore etc outperform others -

https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07QJ5TK84/ - OOS currently but has fantastic SQ for a speaker worth ₹2400. It fills my room completely and I thoroughly enjoy everything from Agnes Oble to Opeth (for the price obviously). Obviously they have their own limitations but are much better than JBL Go.

https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07V7S6KJ8/ - Big brother of the xSound Go and performs well.

https://dl.flipkart.com/dl/soundcore-motion-plus-30-w-bluetooth-party-speaker/p/itm6159c65fa5847 - This is going to be my next purchase when the price drops below ₹6k. They perform better than some speakers worth double its price and are considered best under $100.

Check Oluv's Gadgets for comprehensive reviews on BT speakers.

PS: won't call myself audiophile but am a sucker for great SQ. I own Tin T2 and have used Soundmagic E10c, Beyerdynamics Byron, KZ ZS10 in past.

My vote also goes to soundcore too , other than great sound its subbrand of anker which is very reputed and thier qc is great too so you can expect them to last
