How to add watermark to a group of photos in photoshop?

I'm new to photoshop. Can someone tell me how to add watermark to a group of pics in adobe CS4.
I have pics with different sizes and resolutions. I want to add my name at one corner as watermark to all the photos at once.
 
Its easy.

1) Create a New layer.

2) Select text tool, and type what ever you want to type.

3) Decrease the opacity of the layer to about 40-50%.

Done!!!

Ok i tried this already, but got very confused while executing this.

I already created the watermark on a transparent background and saved it as .psd file. I couldn't remember all the effects i applied to my watermark to record it in action and use as a batch.

Now is there a way to use my saved watermark file to apply on all the photos in folder in 1 go?

Assuming you've create the action with name as Watermark.. The all you have to do is open your image and the click on the “Watermark†action in the Actions palette and click the Play icon at the bottom...!! Everything will be automatically executed and you will get an image with watermark..
