Hi, I have a Nok 6070 & use a CA42 cable to connect to my PC. The PC used to detect it as "Nokia CA-42 Cable", and it used to work fine.
But the other day I installed Prolific USB-to-Serial driver (PL-2303) which came as a .exe file. Once I instaled it the PC detects the cable as "USB-to-Serial Controller". But now the connection is not working. so, I tried to revert to the previous driver files, but my PC isn't accepting the drivers it was accepting previously.
I tried uninstalling the Prolific 2303 driver by going to Start > Prolific 2303 > Uninstall. Still, the PC doesn't accept the old drivers, and detects the cable as USB-to-Serial.
Any idea on how to remove the PL-2303 completely?
