Hi guys

I recently purchased an asus wl-330n3g device i want to use it in 3G sharing mode with my tataphoton plus device (Huwaei ec1261) .
The problem is it is unable to establish a connection.

it seems my device isnt in the supported list. still I'm trying to connect it using auto mode.
It requires certain settings like apn/dail number/account/password. i think if i get these right i should be able to use it .
can some one verify these settings as im unable to contact customer care

dail number = #777
account = photonnumber@photon.ttsl.in
password = internet

also if anyone knows the apn name for tataphoton ?
most sites are blocked in my office can't check.

Anything else i could try

Can you post a screen shot of the router configuration option for the 3G USB device option. I am able to do it on my Hame Router.

just went through a guide for hame routers, the asus interface is a little different though will post screenies around 9-10pm

for account i entered "96********@photon.ttsl.in" and password as "internet"

still it was not connecting .... even tried enable cdma2000 as the ec1261 is a cdma device as per its manual .... still no avail.

I have similar setting inputs as that. For the ISP, password, and dial number. Highly probable your net modem is not compatible with this router.

@ Varkey that list was not for wl-330n3g even i got conviced earlier :-), the wl 330n3g list is just below it.

@asingh I think you are right , Anyways Ive ordered for a compatible micromax one it should work with mtnl sim as per their site

I had initially ordered a Tenda from ekwireless off eBay. It was on the compatibility list but my modem never worked. They instead gave me a Hame (worth more) and it worked. Never charged me the differential. :)
