Forum Feedback How to Delete Image attachments in my Account

Earlier I have posted some market ads... now they are sold so the threads have been closed.... when I post new ads, when I attach pics, it says you cannot attach pics as your pics are full in capacity, I need to delete earlier ones, the question is how should I do it, in my Control Panel, I dont see this option.
 
^Don't you notice a checkbox on the right side of the attachment and a 'Delete Selected' option below all the checkboxes?

Nope

No check box anywhere in sight

Tried opening it in Chrome & IE8 in case it was a browser issue but no use

Maybe you need special rights for the same ?

Can the mods clarify please ?

I have pmed the mods also

I am sure this requires additional privileges.

I presently have only these rights "

You may post new threads

You may post replies

You may post attachments

You may edit your posts

Do you have any more rights then me ?

Are the threads where the attachments present closed? If so try opening the threads and then see if the delete options show up.

I have almost the same rights ... but deleting my own attachment should not be that much of a right issue. I am still not able to delete. When in a new post, I click attachment, a box opens up showing my existing attachments .... and the space involved. All pics have check marks. I request mods.site admins to give an option there n then to delete those. Just a suggestion.... when I select one file ... A Tab saying ACTION should follow with following prompts: Delete, Move, reload, rename etc or may be just a simple delete so that novices dont get confused.
 
@Eddy Opened the thread deleted the files and it worked .I guess we cannot delete the files attached if they are present in a closed thread .
 
all my pictures that I want to delete r in closed threads, then how to delete, please guide.
