Very probably Audio driver is not installed.
Go to your PC manufacturer website / support page.
Download Audio driver for your PC model and install it.
That should solve the problem.
Go to Windows Services by typing services.msc in run window (Windows + R key) and start the Windows Audio process. This can only be done if you have the device driver already installed.
