My LG BP440 Blu-ray player is unable to play region 2 DVD discs as it supports only region 5 discs. How can I make it play region 2 disc or for that matter region 1,2,3 & 4 discs. I have searched most of the websites with hacks to make it region free player but haven't been able to make my player region free. Is there any way I can play discs of region 2 as I have a couple of movies on region 2 DVD? or is this particular model, LG BP440 blu-ray player, not capable of becoming a region free. Please keep your suggestions flowing.

Another way is to use makemkv to dump the entire DVD to hdd as mkv files.
