One of the screws holding my laptops wifi adapter has completed lost its grooves for the screwdriver to have any grip. Absolutely messed up. Its also very secure and does not budge. How can I remove it without damaging the motherboard?

Any help will be much appreciated. TIA

Take a hacksaw, knife or cutter and cut a new groove in the screw. Then use a flat screw driver to remove it.
