Hi, My friend have old BSNL ADSL wifi router WA3002-g1 and he wants share his internet via this router but unfortuntely there is only one RJ 45 out (LAN) which goes pc LAN socket and another IN is RJ 11 (I think telephone line) were BSNL line get in. Currently his broadband line having RJ45 (Ethernet) socket which is not possible to get inside in RJ 11. So how it's possible to share the internet geeks.

I'm confused where I have to plug RJ45 cable (the broadband cable) ? because there is only one RJ 11 socket, so it's not possible to plug RJ 45 into RJ 11.

see the telephone line gets split and one goes to phone and other into RJ11 socket of modem and an output wire comes out from RJ45 socket.

Now you just have to plug that LAN cable into an ethernet switch. Now get another LAN cable and connect the Pc to the ethernet switch. If you want to share to another PC just Plug the PC to the ethernet switch.

I think you miss the point there is no telephone line, it's direct cable connection which comes to his house and which is RJ 45 (LAN) and goes to his PC LAN card socket.

forget about the RJ11 and try configuring the router to act as bridge (like ethernet switch) and then connect broadband wire to one of LAN port and other PC via a LAN cable to other LAN port.

I once tried this with a old linksys ADSL modem + wifi router to get on college LAN and failed.

Please post the result.

No, he using Tikona broadband, whenever he want to use his internet, he just enter his login ID and password to Tikona webpage, it' just like Reliance one.
