Twitter is unlike any other social media you’ve used. It’s main use is to get news first hand on the topics of interest. Normally passive usage on twitter is best. Since it is unlikely that normal people like us generate any news, it’s better to stay away from commenting and to start news feeds on false/ second hand information. You have to be careful on twitter as one wrong tweet can land you in trouble, because all kinds of people are on twitter. Be nice to people when and if commenting and present your views in most neutral way without profanity, this will mostly keep you out of criticism. You’ll also have to have a lot of tolerance to accept all types of views from all people, and not get too emotional on your or against anyones point of view. Start by following people and topics that interest you. All the best.
