Laptops HP Pavilion tx2000z availability ?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy laptop, and I've used 1300AU the older version of HP tablet laptop before.

But I'm interested in buying HP Pavilion tx2000z Review
I wanna know if its available somehow in India, as its not officially released.

I'm eager to buy, as I dont have any notebook currently and living on jus desktop !

i dont know if its released anywhere yet... the link you provided mentions its a pre-release version and the review is dated jan '08.

i have the 1302au and the problem with that is its a passive touchscreen meaning you cant do handwriting only basic touch/tapping buttons etc.

the new 2000 series has an active digitizer and touchscreen meaning this will be an awesome tablet pc when its released... maybe it will show up in india in apr/may... worth waiting for IMHO

edit: one thing you need to be aware of is the graphics is nvidia "onboard" with shared RAM, not high performance "discreet" like a 8600gt with its own video RAM... it does run Vista AERO fine but dont expect to do any decent gaming on it :) its great as a web tablet.
 
Yeah, I'm not expecting gaming.

I just wanna have it for some presentations and its very portable ..

active digitizer rocks definitely...i've heard lot abt it when viewed CES '08.

Moreover its available now in US market, can someone get me some info from where I can buy from India ?

Or is anyone'z brother/sister/cousin/friend/chacha/mama someone coming from US ? lol
