television is heavy ~ 30 Kg

No one here is going to buy CRT.

Your only option is to sell it on OLX. There's a big market for such old devices. These are mainly bought by people who rent out holiday homes on airbnb or similar websites.

I didn't expect there would be so many CRT enthusiast. Once upon a time, I used a professional 21in CRT monitor from Silicon Images.

I was just pointing out that all our old stuff is being bought by people who rent out holiday homes on airbnb, booking.com, agoda etc websites. This one could fetch 1-2k from them.

This is exactly what I did. I bought a PS2 back in 2018/19 just to check out a few games and they never looked right on a LCD TV. A CRT TV in good condition is a rare find but did manage to get 1 last year via Olx. So these things do sell well and there's definitely a demand for them. If the OP can be bit patient and sell it instead of giving away, I would recommend that.

I can no longer use the heavy tv set due to physical disability
AND not sure about a reliable recycling organization.
