try looking for a 4c/8t xeon on ebay, much cheaper with the same performance though you wont get an iGPU.
Does it have any heating issue?

I've recently bought one of these Xeons and to my surprise it actually runs cooler than my previous i3. Some of that was down to the new thermal paste but also, Xeons are the highest grade bin Intel can make, so they are more energy efficient compared to regular desktop CPUs.

Heh, I'm using that in my system currently, I think i paid like 4k for it on aliexpress 2 years back? Still working great. Wonder what the price of it will be now though, and on top of that there might be shipping problems

The price is about the same. Ali wont ship to India but ebay has no such problems, it takes a month or two though.

some xeon models don't have integrated graphics so you need a gpu for a display, watch out for that.

Thanks for the information. Would you recommend me xeon over i5 3570? What is the best processor I can have under 4000 on this board?

XEONs cannot be overclocked on DZ77 or H61 Mobos, so i7-3770k overclockedwith a NOCTUA cooler can let you reach 4.3GHz which is better than XEONS., Moreover Certain functionalities will not be working when u use xeon which is a disclaimer from the manufacturer,
i5-3570 is really good if u can Overclock it, but it is not unlocked processor, so OC is prohibited, but i have seen PEOPLE OCing i5-3570 in youtube successfully.

I do not want to overclock just looking for a plug and play cpu upgrade option. Pricing between 3470 And 3570 seems 20-25% without a significant performance difference (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm inclined towards 3470 at the moment because I am not sure how to get a xeon in india.

While this is true, I would like to point the fact that Xeon tend to run constantly for sustained workloads without having throttle or turbo. That's the reason they are made for Enterprise or Servers.
If the buyer is looking for sustained workloads, i7/i5 are no match to Xeon even they are overclocked to max limit.

i5-3570 is the best choice, coz, its already time, meaning its been 9 years since these proccy got released, it can be overclocked until 4.3 Ghz, provided u must have a NOCTUA or DEEPCOOL ASSASSIN cooler to dissipate the overclocking heat, the point is i5-3570 @ 4.3 GHz is at par with Ryzen 3300x IMHO, and can play many AAA titles if combined with 1070 or better GPUs.
so, invest less and use it with maximum OC for an year as u can go for better systems in the coming Years for best budget.

True, But i7-3770K is a different beast and it better matches the CHIPSETs DZ77, B75, H61 and added advantage is OC. XEON is good, but @ this juncture, both are obsolete, for budget people it is still a Gain, as they can experiment with non-recommended XEON CPU & desktop MOBO combination. when it fails, the investment is a failed risk.
under 4000 it is i5-3570, XEONs cost u 5K-6K
