atleast when i tested with the senn cx500 they sounded utter crap. try the nuforce or something much better stuff. right from the review link you posted

@ paddydevil: thats exactly why i wanted to get it from KMD.. HassleFree. Slightly costiler.. but it does the job.

@ mediahome: Dude.. nuforce icon mobile is like 5k man..:| the price diff is insane.

You cant just give out a blanket statement that they are NOT good if YOU dont like them. :rofl: Audio is very subjective. what is music to one persons ear is trash to antohers. Though i also have to admit that you are the first person i've seen dissing the fiio's so much. Its almost as if you are getting defensive about your soundmagic deal. Even though there is no reason for you to. :rofl:

The background static exists as long as there is no music playing. The second you start playing music, the static disappears.

And oh, btw, the CX500 is a piece of trash when compared to a lot of other similarly priced earphones. I warned you guys AGAINST getting the CX :tongue:. You dint listen.. did you :rofl:

I've been using an E3 for the past 4-5 months and just upgraded to a E5. The E3 imo is completely worht its money. For that matter, so is the E5

Edit - Anyone looking for more comprehensive reviews should head over to headfi. They have a huge thread running on the E3s

well, a $6 item will be hassle free :) no worries.
i have always opted for the plain vanila shipping from dealextreme and it gets to me within 20 days or so via post. never had to pay customs for any items. most

in case you want ems it will be more expensive but still customs wont trouble you on this.
