ok now this is what most of us want in few months i want it for my rigs too and will get the product in max this week or the next ...........i dunno the rates as of now just post yours -what u want and the best rates ur getting so i can negotiate with the dealer.

You get 500GB Seagate 7200.12 for Rs 2700-Rs2800 locally nearly everywhere in Delhi.

Be it Nehru Place in South or Wazirpur Industrial / Computer Area in the North.

The other two WD HDD's will also be available on the cheap on order. For these you may try SMC International , NP as he keeps the WD HDD's.

ok i want the wd 1tb and that too before 16 cant wait nymore looks like no1 is intrested and wd is not going to release the 2 platter 1tb soon nyways i am getting it for ~5250 dunno if its an ok price

if no1 is intrested i will close the thread :)

I bought it with discount coupon. Price was Rs.3200 - Rs. 329 = Rs.2961.

local price in my city is Rs.3100 for 16mb cache version. He said prices are raising on all computer parts for last few days!
 
there is no 500 gb 7200.12 with 32 MB cache .. only 7200.11 has
onws 7200.12 ..
and also seagate's website does not have any product like that !
cost is 2900 for 7200.12 in nehru place

I was about to ask the model for 7200.12 500GB with 32MB cache as I couldn't find any on Seagate's site. On the site there are just 2 500GB HDDs of 7200.12 series and both have 16MB cache.

So please let us know the exact model no. or please correct the descriptions in the posting as it will result in misleading the members of this forum.
