Had gone to Mahavir Computers here in Ritchie Street couple of weeks back asking for something when he was talking to someone about stocking ATi cards and I also found a few ATi cards on the shelf (Which is a rarity here in Chennai
).
Anyways, asked him about the HD4850 and he told me that Sapphire would be available with him - 12500 + 4% Tax. Asked him the rate for 10 pieces minimum - 12000 + 4% Tax. Tried haggling but he wouldn't come below that. Forgot totally about it. Got a call today from him asking if I wanted to take the order ahead. Told him bluntly that the pricing was not attractive enough
Then when I told him about Palit / GeCube, he said it was available. Price - Best price - He came up with the above given if the numbers were 10 or more. Found them to be decent and so, starting an IC here.
Palit HD4850 - 10700 + 4% Tax
GeCube HD4850 - 11000 + 4% Tax
So, it all comes down to the numbers now Anyone who wants one, post it here and we'll see what comes out of this
