I recently installed IE7 Beta. But half way through the installation, an error popped up saying that the installation cannot continue and then my computer restarted. The icon of IE changed but when i click on it to run it I get this error message
"
ieexplor.exe - Entry Point not found

The procedure entry point InternetGetSecurityInfoByURLW could not be loacted in the dynamic link library WINNNET.dll
"

I tried uninstalling , but when i click on Remove in Add/Remove programs I get a message saying

"
Internet Explorer 7 Beta Preview cannot be uninstalled from this user account. Please log into the account from whicj it was installed and try again.
"

I have only one user account on my computer.

Re-installing also is not possible because I get a message saying that the software is already installed.

hmmm....well then i suggest you check whether you have Administrative rights or not...
Secondly log in using the Administrator Account i.r instead if putting your name put in Administrator.
Thirdly : check up the guides section there is a thread about uninstalling IE 7 beta there...

Well guys the problem is I have switched off System Restore on all drives...

Anyways lemme check putting Administrator instead of my name.

I did a bit of searching on the net and I came up with a way to uninstall IE7 if it is giving you an error. If it says to uninstall using some other user account do the following:
Make a file named uninstallie.reg and then put these lines in it

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer]
"InstalledByUser" = "0x10001"

Save it and then double click on it.You will get a message, just click on ok and proceed. Now you should be able to uninstall IE7 without any problems.
