Monitors In the market for new monitor (120hz)

Hey guys,

I currently use a Viewsonic VX2260WM 22" monitor which I bought in Singapore about 1-2 years ago. Solid monitor but I'm very much interested in the newer 120hz monitor in the market. Currently the only game I'm playing is CSGO which my card can easily do >200fps.

1) What do you guys think about the BenQ XL2420T ? It's currently priced around 24k. I might wait around a bit for the price to drive down.
2) Any idea how much my current monitor will sell for? It's got no warranty information.


P.S: I'll be getting myself a better GPU later this year (GTX 780) or something in the nVidia Maxwell family next year.
 
1. Don't expect price cuts in the near future, consider yourself lucky if they happen in 6-12 months and by at most 10-20%.

2. 2-3k tops. So no point selling.
 
I'm gonna buy the same monitor within 2 months. The monitor is a top choice, NQAT.

As far as price cuts are concerned, probably nothing will happen as it's a top end monitor. Maybe a thousand over a year, not worth waiting.

As it's not a very fan favorite brand, plus no warranty, no point selling. Do a dual monitor setup, and only play games/media on the benq beast of a monitor.
