increase net speed.........

hi guys.........
i have a mtnl 256kbps unlimited download plan........but my net speed is not so good.......my torrent download speed remain normally between 50-60kbs
and sometimes it goes above 100 kbs but normally while surfing the net my net speed is not good......
does net speed depends on your computer also?my computer is not very good.............can u pls suggest me some ways by which i can increase my net speed...............

You are getting way more than you are supposed to get. :p

You ought to be getting download speeds of upto 32kbps....:p

Just pray that your current speed doesn't back to NORMAL:mad: !

if u guys r saying this is good...may be u r right....the isp providers say that my net speed can go upto 2mbps but this hasnot happened once.......
what do u say now..........

the speed advertised on the package are in kbps n what our OS displays is kBps

B = 8b

hope u r considering that 1st n then comparing the speed...
upto 2mbps is what depends upon the loaction.

You cant complain as it says upto 2mbps and not 2mbps


Still you are getting pretty decent speed be happy with what you have.:)
