Indian Gaming Carnival

I am not a pro at gaming but I guess there should be couple of participants from TE. Atleast those who are near 2 delhi & noida. Come'on TE ppl make ur presence feel over there too....

I saw some of the snaps of the PC setups uploaded by a few members here onto their FB page. Looked pretty good and it also garnered a lot of praise. Guys who are heavily into MP should give this a shot IMO.

India is developing!!! Never thought such large events will be held in india .

why??? even the World Cyber Games were held in India a few years back. Extremely large scale competition with the final round in mumbai. and the winners of the final round were sent to switzerland or somewhere in germany .. dont remember correctly. one of my friends one the mumbai round in World of Warcraft.. but got disqualified as he didnt have an Indian passport..

and that time the games were NFS UG2, world of warcraft, FIFA and couple more..

anyone up for bf3 competition.? We can make a team entry from TE in BF3. I think i will attend this and participate too in atleast one of the games just for fun.

@punitithere

The World Cyber Games are held every year in India however they are qualifiers , with winners getting a meagre amount (25-30k for a team of 5) , now that even sponsors have backed out , winners go on self-paid trip to the grand finale of WCG .The only winner we have so far is in virtual 8-ball a Indian player won it recently i guess.

There are lot of such tournaments happening but the scene is nowhere near that in other countries , however that said its much better than few years down the line.

oh .. i didnt know that.. i just participated in NFS the first time they happened. got eliminated in the third round.. not really my fault.. bloody shitty keyboard settings that we couldnt change.. and there was no standardization over the choice of cars..

This is probably slowly turning into the biggest fail for Indian gaming scene
