Info needed on Address Proof Affidavit in Kolkata

For some verification purpose I need a present residential address proof. And since my rent agreement has expired, affidavit is the only option left.

Do anyone have any knowledge from where can I get the 'Affidavit'? (whom shall I approach? Who is the issuing authority?)

Pointers specific to Salt Lake, Kolkata would be very much appreciated.

Well, you can try the Salt Lake court @ Mayuk Bhavan or they place where those lawyers sit next to
Bikash Bhavan. There should be enough people around there who can help you there and is best if you go there personally and check out.

If you cannot go there at this moment and need a contact, then my sister is a lawyer there but I dont think that she does much of this stuff.
Might be able to redirect you though

From one of my friend also I got the same place for such stuffs - Bikash Bhavan. I'm heading there right now.
(and don't need to bother your sister. anyway thanks. :))

Its done. There's lotsa guys sitting with typewriters doing such works in Bikash Bhavan. Cost me 150 bucks.
