Installing android2.2 on T mobile HD2

How to install android2.2 onT mobile HD2. My friend just purchased my hd2 but want to put android on it . Can any one guide.
 
Thanks a lot. But i have a question since phone is T mobile and software unlocked wont it get locked if i try installing android?
 
No. The only issue is the sim lock. If the phone is sim unlocked, nothing can hold you back :P

Probably not,as you will be trying sd method you can always fall back on the stock rom if anything goes wrong.Just be careful when you flash with NAND roms,your sim is unlikely to get locked,but a incompatible radio or rom may cause problems.There is a detailed sticky in xda for NAND flash.
 
Ya phone is not sim locked. But even then it will be having stock ROM of T Mobile . Wont it have any effect?

I was using Darkstone`s Froyo,but it was long time ago.I had MDJ`s NAND Froyo before I sold the hd2.
 
dont want to craete a new thread , so in order to avoid spaming i am posting in this thread itself .

I need help to Install Android on HD2 . This phone belongs to my cousin , and I have no idea how to do the install , so i need help from you guys .

Someone pls help me with Step by Step installation procedure .

Although i myself own a Galaxy Tab , but still I m not so familiar with Flashing Rom's and all . So , considering me as a NOOB , pls help me out .

For info :-

This HD2 device was bought from HTC INDIA , so its a factory unlocked phone .

Warranty is over now .
