I did some iperf tests connecting between Lucknow to Bangalore. Each test was carried out for 100 seconds. Both the ends are using residential connections. I believe this data is more useful than checking against public speedtest servers.
The first table shown below is the ISP claimed theoretical speed (Line speed)
The first result is where Lucknow is sender and Bangalore is receiver. The last column (Fraction of Line speed) divides the obtained speed with the minimum line speed between the two end points from the table above. Ideally the number should be 1. Anything more than 1 suggests that the ISP has overprovisioned the line (which is good). The best interconnect is between ACT Lucknow to Airtel Bangalore.
The second result is were Bangalore is the sender and Lucknow is the receiver. Here again Airtel Bangalore to ACT lucknow is topping the list.
The results show that Excitel to ACT connection is not good. Excitel Lucknow to Airtel Bangalore is decent.

The results show that Excitel to ACT connection is not good. Excitel Lucknow to Airtel Bangalore is decent.
