Intex has launched a new tablet as part of their iBuddy range of tablets. This new 7" tablet is almost identical to most other budget 7" Indian tablets. What sets it apart is the inclusion of a SIM card slot, which gives it access to mobile data and features such as voice calling as well. The tablet packs front and rear cameras and comes with Android 4.0.4 ICS installed, which we have to note is getting far too old now.
Intex iBuddy Connect

The Intex iBuddy Connect has a decent black bezel design with visibly no on buttons on the bezel itself. We believe ICS navigation buttons exist on display itself. The iBuddy Connect packs the following specifications:
  • 1 GHz single core processor
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 7" WVGA (800*480) capacitive display
  • 2 MP rear camera, VGA front camera
  • 4 GB of internal storage
  • expandable storage upto 32 GB
  • GSM SIM Card slot, 3G dongle support, Bluetooth, HDMI
  • 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery
  • Android 4.0.4 ICS

The device is pretty standard, but for it's price it represents a nice value. Coming in White & Chocolate colors, and pre-loaded with apps such as Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, India Today and Aaj Tak, this tablet is for those looking for a cheap 7" tab with SIM slot support so that they can make phone calls and use Mobile Data while on the go.

For them, they will find the price tag of Rs. 7,990 quite appealing.
