Budget Above 40k Iphone 13 pro max with or without apple care

Hello,
I'm going to buy the 256gb iPhone 13 pro max from an apple store in India for 140k.
Should I buy apple care for 20kish more for the phone?
I have always used iPhone with silicon case and spigen screen protector and have never bought AC.
Should I buy it for this expensive phone? Incase I buy it is it fine if I don't use any case or screen protector?
I'm fine taking the gamble to spend 5-10k incase something breaks when I drop it.
But I don't see the point in adding a case when accidental damage is covered.
However I don't know the scratch resistance durability of the display and don't want to notice any scratches or dents in the display.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Iphone 12 user here & can vouch for iphone durability. I don't use any case,Just screen protector. Using it for shooting videos for social media,It has fallen more than 10-15 times times from Tripod,Selfie stick, hands & table but hardly any scratch came till now. Can't comment on apple care thing but since you buying such expensive phone,I would suggest to buy apple care as well.

apple care is useless in india unless you don't know how to use a phone :p also outside india they have the theft protection which we don't so just waste of money. telling it based on my use case oh personal iPhone :p

I heard it costs like 40-50k to replace the display if it breaks and even more if back breaks. But if it's under apple care, it costs <10k to replace a broken screen. How is this useless??

thanks. So a screen protector is still advised so prevent scratches on the display I guess.

Yes Screen is always the most delicate & vulnerable part of any phone, Phone back & sides do not get damage easily but screen can crack even from a fall of small height so yes a good quality screen protector/tempered glass is always advised

Guys, I have bought the 13 pro max in gold. Using the apple silicon case with a tempered glass.
Do I need anything to prevent the camera lenses from getting scratches?
Just found out that people even apply something for the camera. I don't like it but at the same time am ready to use anything to keep the camera lenses in the best condition.
Is something needed or advised for the camera lenses for scratch and other protection?
Thanks

Don't apply screen protectors on camera. It may ruin the colour reproduction, add more glares and reduce the quality. iPhone 13 already has a problem with flares, the lens protector may make it worse. Camera lens protector should only be used on action cameras where color science is not that much of an issue.
