Graphic Cards Is Graphic Card not work? Or require to upgrade Graphic card?

I have home PC with below configuration. Now, its vacation time for growing son & intend to play heavy games.

Processor = Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (2.2 GHz) Box Proc.
Motherboard = Intel D945GCNL Original Mother Board
Chasis / SMPS = Micro ATX - Mini Tower Case, I ball, Pride model
System Memory= 1 GB DDR2 RAM-Transcand
Hard Drive= 250 GB SATA Hard Drive - Seagate
Optical Drive= 20x SATA DVD Writer - Sony
Graphics= Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
Output= 19" Wide Screen LCD - Viewsonic
Audio =Creative 5.1 Ch. SBS 560/580

Above sepc shown Graphic card but most of the games like, few name to-BURNOUT PARADISE ULTIMATE, DEATH ROAD, NFS-UNDERCOVER, NFS-HOT PURSUIT, HERRY POTTER & THE GOBBLET OF FIRE....can't play. Son is upset as he crossing 12 years age! and really need to play good games now in vacation.

I think its because of the Onboard Graphics that you're currently using i.e your Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. You would need to replace it with a graphics card.
 
i am really don't have idea how much i should spend for graphic card?

but ready for good graphic card, pl suggest good fitment. thanks

Will he playing any other games apart from the ones already mentioned ?
What is native resolution of the monitor ?
Also you need more ram as 1gb is too low. Get 2gb more atleast
