Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

My main interest to be sure that every game i play is Run at 1080p with setting at ultra or High I play mostly fps and Racing.

What Do you Guys Suggest me is there a need for me to Buy a new card as of now?

5770 is a decent card and will be able to run games at medium settings, but don't expect it to run the latest titles at max settings.

You could get yourself a HD6850 or HD6870 depending on your budget if you do not want to change you power supply. If you have a higher budget, you could also consider getting a HD6950 + Corsair VX550W. All depends on your budget.

your CPU is just adequate, I think spending 10k on an HD6850 to upgrade from a HD5770 is not much sense.

So unless you are willing to shell out more and buy something like:

1. HD6870

2. HD6950

3. GTX560 Ti

Then I would say stick with HD5770 itself.

As of know i would stick with my rig as you said i think its going decent as of now.

@comp@ddict if i were to buy a card like HD 6870 or GTX560 Ti do i also need to change my PSU

Not required for even HD6950, but very much recommended you do as the efficiency of your PSU will go down south. Its always better to keep the power consumption of the rig in full load limited upto 80% of the max power your PSU can provide.

i hope the psu calculator is right...also to calculate wattage you have take everything in account that is present in an setup....the bench setups of reviews are bare minimums......you wont even see one HDD's in some :P but that's besides the point.....

that 450w is not at all recommended given his configurations....

Yes his VX450 is not recommend for a 6950, but I simply can't digest that even a VX550W can't. As I said, it can handle any single GPU rig, with stock voltages that is.

according to my calculations the rig would have pulled 530w @ load...so i said 650w......am not too sure about the specs of 550VX

Guru3D rates a rig in full load with a HD6970 (forget HD6950) at 361W, add around 100W as you say that this rig usually has the bare minimum, it comes to 461W (Full load). VX550W can provide 550W continuously.

I ran the PSU calc for
Core i3 530, normal mobo, 2 RAM sticks, HD6870, 3 Regular SATA HDDs, 1 DVD R/W, 4 USB devices, 1*80mm fan, 1*92mm fan, 2*120mm LED fans, 90% load(recommended), 15% capacitor ageing. (KB & Mouse included)
Result: Minimum PSU Wattage: 354 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: * 404 W

Same as above with one more normal 120mm fan and HD6950.
Minimum PSU Wattage: 381 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: * 431 W

Whats the fuss here :S The VX450 can easily handle both!

I would recommend the OP get a HD6870 1GB GDDR5 ~ 11.4k or wait it out for the next gen. cards!

looks like i did some overestimation with capacitor aging

too close for comfort...don't you think?

i say a 550watter would do.....

Thats why i had recommended a HD6870 where system load @ 90% takes only ~350w. Even with recommended wattage there is some headroom. If HD6950 then yeah 550w is better bet.
We should keep in mind that 100% is unrealistic in real life usage scenarios unless we run fur mark and the likes!

HIS Radeon HD 6870 1 GB Review - Page 27/33 | techPowerUp

The HD6870 will consume max. 163w (furmark) and peak 127w(Gaming). It consumes just ~13w more than HD5850 and ~8w more than GTX460 @ max load. A VX450 will handle it without fuss especially considering he has a dual core Clarkdale @ stock!

VX450W is capable of supplying 570W in full load (not continuously), it can run 6870 easily. I myself have VX450 + HD6870.
May be not with the new batches. But still even with the rated wattage it can easily handle a HD6870! Its a quality PSU with 33A in single +12V rail!

Imo you should buy atlst a top notch 550 600 watts top run a 6950 with your right unchanged with everything on stock. For oc of both cpu and gpu or cpu change and multiple hdds I would prefer a high quality 650 700 or so

Currently not interested in Changing i will go with comp@ddict Suggestion wait for newer launch's and then will buy a new product + compatible PSU and cross fire it with my existing HD 5770 HAWK

Heard of 28nm Launches this year is that true?

@OP, if you go on like this , then you will have to upgrade your GPU every time a new GPU/game is launched. How about SLI/xfire
