Issue in my Laptop

I have an ACER NITRO 5 laptop with an Intel i7-10750H processor and a GTX1650Ti graphics card. The problem is that when I play games or run heavy software, half of the screen freezes. I asked the company's tech help, but they told me that the display driver is up to date and that there is no problem with the screen.

But today I noticed that the problem only happens when I'm using Chrome, but not when I'm using Edge.

It might be a coincidence, or it might not.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Try a deep uninstall and reinstall of chrome. Does the issue occur with Firefox?

It could be some extension. It's not your screen or gpu or drivers since the webpage is cut in half and it doesn't go beyond the application window.

That is a workaround to a hardware/software problem. I wouldn't suggest that. Hardware acceleration should be working just fine unless there's a driver or hardware issue.

Try that is to go to chrome://flags and disable "Calculate window occlusion on Windows" and restart Chrome.
