Edit: Yep, in the editor it shows as tilde but not in browser. Something to do with the font face perhaps. Will have to check.

Its a browser issue for sure as the font otherwise will remain same across browsers unless enforced.

No, I haven't done anything.

Changes in font are evident in user name (and the info below it), time and date (above username), post permalink (rightmost corner), and "Last edited by....". (Last two now shown in screenshot, but are also problematic).

Isn't this the tilde - ~ ? I do see it on the browser.

You are using a different skin. This issue is with the Open Sans font which the Terra Nova skin uses. Frankly I don't see how this would impact anything even if it does not show up correctly. :)
 
Bug: Unable to log in through IE10 on Windows 8. Chrome/Firefox works fine.
Details: When I enter my username and password at the top right hand corner of the TerraNova themed TE forum home page and try to log in, I'm again redirected back to the forum home page in guest mode. It's not logging me in.
Try it yourself. :)

Disclaimer: This doesn't mean I use (and love) IE. I was just testing stuff in IE and this came up.
 
NOT a bug , but as you go to the bottom of the site , you will see some weird stuff.

While browsing TE! I face wried problem, RJ45 Jack with broken lock pop out often and I see a rat sitting at the modem :sleep: Other than that TE works flawless.
 
The new default skin looks good, BUT, it would be good to have the Dark skin back. One issue that I have so far - the notification panel is not quite visible (only after clicking on my userame did I see it), and it doesn't pop up even on notifications. Another thing, the notification panel takes time to load (I am on Opera)

you need to save the PM into sent folder by enabling "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder." under "Additional Options" while sending any PM.
You can also enable that permanently from user settings.
 
I know you guys are close to upgrading, so maybe it makes sense for the next version.

When you click on your notifications, you *have* to click on every different class of notification for them to clear.

Also, when you click on the notification class you don't land up on the tab for that class but get deposited on the 'activity' tab.
 
When was the last time you tried doing this? Have tried in the last one week?

Thats how they have designed the notifications. The next versions takes you to a common page for everything so that should not be a problem.
