I also wanna ask ki shld i use VGA cable or DVI cable? What's the difference n will it make any difference during playing games or watching HD movies?

I was watching HD movie n can't find any difference from crt 17" to this 24" is this bcz of my graphics card, well i have XFX 8500GT....

1st of all, CRTs have got Deep Pixel technology which makes movie watching a charm. All colors, curves are veryyyy smooth in a CRT. But Details are NOT as good as LCD.

2ndly, u r saying u cant notice any difference in quality when u moved from 17" to 24"!! wt else do u need!? U r able the c HD movie in FULL quality/satisfaction on a Much bigger - 24" screen!

3rdly CRT is Very bad for eyes and also bad for Electric Bills, so forget the CRT n enjoy ur dell re.

Are you sure the "HD" movie is really "full HD" ? How many GB is it and how many minutes long?

Make sure you compare with a true HD movie like the open source "Elephants Dream" or "Big Buck Bunny" those are nearly 1GB size each for only about 10 min of time!
